About

A family business with one job: the current SDS, where it's needed.

SupplySafe is an Australian owned and operated family business in Melbourne, Victoria. It gets the current Safety Data Sheet from the company that issues it into every workplace that has to keep it, and keeps it current there.

Why I started it

I spent years in trade supply, chasing Safety Data Sheets in both directions. Manufacturers and importers write an SDS, review it every five years, and then answer the same request for it over and over: by email, by phone, from a distributor, from a workshop that lost the folder. Workplaces have to keep a register with the current sheet for every hazardous chemical on site, so they print, file, re-request and hope the folder is up to date when someone needs it.

The software built for this grew up for large sites with safety departments. It is powerful, expensive and hard to use, and adding one product to your register can mean raising a paid service request. A ten-person workshop was never the customer.

So SupplySafe starts from the other end. The manufacturer publishes once. The workshop ticks what it holds. A poster goes on the wall. Revisions flow through. Nothing is retyped, nothing is reprinted, and nobody needs a training course. That's the bit I'm proudest of.

Who runs SupplySafe?

SupplySafe is a family business, started in Melbourne in 2026. Australian owned and operated. We're not a big corporate, and we're not an overseas software company.

We run it deliberately lean, with a lot of automation and people kept for the things that need judgement. That shows up in how we work:

  • Plain English, on the screens and in the emails.
  • You reach the people who run it. Email hello@ or use Help in the app, and one of us answers. A real person, every time.
  • Self-service by default, so adding a product or a site never waits on us.
  • Honesty about size. We don't claim customers, certifications or offices we don't have. What we do claim, you can check on the Security page.

What we will and won't do

We distribute Safety Data Sheets. We don't write them, edit them, classify chemicals or report to a regulator. The manufacturer owns the document. The workplace owns its register. We own the reliable link between them.

The proof, not the slogan

  • Data stored in Sydney, Australia Registers, accounts and SDS files live in an Australian data centre.
  • Answered by the people who run it Email us and the family that runs SupplySafe replies, from Melbourne. No call centre.
  • Built for Australian WHS rules The five-year SDS review is counted from the revision date printed on the sheet (usually Section 16), not the first issue date.
